Hi all I'm just wondering if anyone else baby is like this when teething ? She is 6 months old and her teeth are at her today but she is absolutely exhausted can't keep her awake for more than 60 - 70 minutes . She's no temp or any other symptoms of sickness she was like this when the teething first started as well . Just curious really as usually babies are harder to get to sleep when teething I would of though but my DD is just absolutely wiped , she has slept for 3 hours already today and asleep again now an hour before her next nap was due

I had one day with my then 5mo like that (single scarlet cheek, drooling) where she slept like anything and had to have Calpol at bed time. The tooth didn't come for another month! We'd been to see the paediatrician about something else, and he told us anything that gave her a temperature would make her sleepy and sick (projectile vomit!).

That said - the next time she was that sleepy, she came down with bronchiolitis the next day, and was in hospital the day after that. So keep an eye out for things like rapid breathing at rest, sucking in their chest under their ribs, any viral symptoms or reduction in feeding. It's probably nothing and your LO will produce a tooth shortly!

Oh your poor LO , my DD seems fine today it's definitely her teeth it just seems to knock the stuffing out of her the poor little thing, though it doesn't look like there is any teeth on the way yet . I'd love if they appeared and it was over for a while for her sake.

If she's 6 months she could be having a growth spurt. That makes them sleep a lot more than usual too
