Help me stop things kicking off

Bad morning with my at school kids so not sure how they will be when I pick up.

I need to go to Tesco and as a sweetner they could have their tea in the cafe there. We don't go often, but the last couple of times DS1 wasn't happy to go and we came home for tea instead. I want to go as I want to get some bits and it saves me cooking, but they can have tea at home if they really want, but they still won't want to come.

No time at weekend to do it. Do I make them come or just give in?

Not a choice - you need the shopping, they have to come with you!

I bet you could think of things you'd rather do.

TBH the shopping I want could wait but it is stuff to get the house a bit better organised.

Go before you go to school?

Ds2 only just got up so not enough time now. Couldn't go this morning as GP appointment and then my groceries were delivered.

Will see what mood the kids are in. Could go somewhere else which they may be happier with and I could still get some bits.
