Compact stroller for nearly 3 year old

DS turns 3 in Feb. Our big Oyster pram takes too much room in the boot for out and about. We've been using the folding smartrike but the brakes now broken.

We need a compact pram to fit in the boot of our fiesta easily. (not umbrella fold) That my nearly 3 year old can go in when out and about. We're in that stage where he's not quite ready for full time walking!

Suggestions gratefully received! Would like to find cheap on eBay if possible.

Are you sure you need one? Does your child have a scooter? My son was very very ready not to go in a buggy after 2 years 10 months. I just feel like it might be a waste of money and you’d only get a few weeks out of it

Yes we feel we need one.

We have a silver cross clic that's for long days out, airports, etc. DC doesn't use it much anymore (2 and three quarters) but we've had good use out of it. Maybe look for something in the sales? Or get the trike repaired or replaced?

We have a Joolz Aer that we are still using with our 3 year old. Gets plenty of use on days out. Folds really small, could fit in the footwell of the car.

We also have a Joolz Aer which is a great pram. Folds up very small and compact, lightweight to carry. We stopped using it when DS was around 2 but sure it would fit a bigger child comfortably.

The Graco Myavo is a good budget lightweight compact fold option if you don't want to splash out on one of the more expensive joolz aer/bugaboo butterfly type options.
