...the wet wipe you are in the midst of using gets stuck to the velcro tab on the nappy you have just removed...

Sorry - random thought, but this always annoys me and must annoy others too!

That is most annoying!

What really annoys me, is when ds decides to try and grab the nappy from under himself to throw across the room

I've not had that but havehad wet wipes not coming out of the packet separately (huggies wet wipes) so now I have to guess what kind of poo it will be and get wet wipes out before ie a particulary big one is an 8 wiper and so on. I also hate it when younger babies get their feet in the way and thus covered in poo and when older children turnover and wriggle as you're wiping or worse try to touch it.

WARNING disgusting post...

The other day my dd came up to me in the shed and said ds (20 mth who was also in the garden) has pulled his nappy off mummy, i came out of the shed and ds was sat in the floor with the nappy undone and the dog was eating the poo out of the nappy. (god i am retching just typing this).

uuurgh pucca - that is foul!!!!

Ledodgy - you had me laughing there - I do that too. But, blimey - an 8 wiper?!! I think the most I ever need is 3. I fold and fold again.......am I being a bit tight here?! Mind you, think of the environment...

PMSL - Judging by the posts that are making me giggle I'm having a v immature evening tonight!!! the dog, self fiddling, non seperating..... hee hee they are all so familiar.

But the velcro tabs are the bane of my life! Not just the wipe issue - I spend most of my time avoiding getting them in the S£$%! Anything to avoid the washing!

I have also had several incidents recently of DS taking the nappy off and me on my hands and knees chasing him with cupped hands trying to 'catch' things before they hit the new carpets
