The dreaded Nap....

DS 2.5 hasn't napped for about 4 months. At all.

Today, the day I need him to go to bed early so "santa" can prepare, he decides to nap.

Argh! Every time he naps it's a late bedtime or a battle to even entertain going to bed. Kinda why he dropped the nap I think. Just didn't need it

Whatcha reckon... let him nap to 3/3.30? Think that gives me a glimmer of hope he may entertain bed around 8?

We had light plans this afternoon but it's fine they don't happen. Went to see santa this morning so I'm not surprised he's tired.

Aaargh! my DDs are adult now but I still remember the Terror of the Nap after noon which would inevitably mean a 10pm sleeptime...

How did it go in the end? is he asleep like a peaceful little angel since 8pm?

Not quite... he went to bed at 9... he's actually still asleep! I'm waiting for Christmas wake up!

Haha wooowww that is a looong sleep! Nice!
mine never passes 6am!
2.1 year old and Has been struggling with day nap but we are unwilling to drop it so we have now gotten into a drive him to sleep habit, he falls asleep immediately and transfers easily but obviously its mot ideal for this to go on too long..
