Chicken pox?

Hi all,

I wondered if anyone else's child has had a rash like this before and only on their back?

My LO is 3 and had a sickness /flu type bug last week, and came out with these spots yesterday morning.

LO is not irritated by them in any way and has no temperature & the spots do dissappear when doing the glass test.

LO does have a bit of a runny nose and a bit of a cough from being unwell last week, but has a good appetite and is eating well, etc.

Thank you if you've got this far

Doesn't really look like CP to me, tends to be more blistery and wide spread. I'd hazard a guess at a post viral rash.

If it's not bothering him then id just keep an eye on it, get it looked at if it gets worse.

Thank you very much, this is what I was thinking but as I'm a FTM I thought I'd check with other parents 😊

Do they disappear when you press clear glass on them? Any other symptoms (being sick, extremely tired, fever, ...)? It's hard to tell if its CP with the photos, do they look like blisters?
