When do boys learn to leave their privates alone??

I have a four year old son and for the last few weeks I have constantly had to prompt him not to touch his private parts. It’s clearly just become a habit for him to have his hands in that area when he’s not actively doing something else.

When do they grow out of this? Is there anything I can do to help him remember? I’ve just been reminding him very calmly every time that it’s something he should only do in private and he stops without fuss every time, but it’s still happening constantly.

Please tell me it’s a phase they grow out of!

This is my great fear! I can’t have him growing up into one of them 😂😭

I’ll keep reminding him and hope that the message sinks in eventually…

I think they are still holding on to it when they die of old age!

Surely you know the answer to this OP! You can't have got to the age of being a parent, without noticing mens obsession with their dicks! 🤦‍♀️

Maybe I’m exceptionally lucky but the men in my life are not public rummagers (though I know very well many such men exist!). They must all have stopped eventually so hopefully I can get my son out of the habit too 😬

I think you’ve probably got a while to go, but it should stop. In public at least.

My two year old is pretty good unless he’s not got pants on, then he forgets constantly 🫣

Came on here to say never but many PPs have beaten me to it 😂😂

Seriously though - hopefully it's just a phase and he will grow out of it.

I misread that as “pubic rummagers”
