Am going away for 2 weeks and have to buy dispo. ones on my shopping being delivered tomorrow. What ones are good? what are bad?

don't buy sainsburys own, they LEAK (if you were going to). All 'mainstream brands' seem much of a muchness to me. I use nature baby - less stretchy and crystally than the others.

SparklyGothKat · 01/05/2008 12:36

ok thanks am ordering from sainsburys

I like Nature Baby. Pampers smell bad, in my opinion, so if it comes down to Pampers vs. Huggies I'd go for Huggies.

Agree Pampers stink. But Huggies have irritating Disney pictures on them.

SquonkTheBeerGuru · 01/05/2008 12:38

huggies are generally stretchier than pampers, but either brand are good for absorbency.

Do you know what size to get? Are they for Callum? he's what, about four months now? I would think probably about size 3 would do you.

SparklyGothKat · 01/05/2008 12:39

what size too? Callum is 12lb 8oz...

oh, just checked out your profile and saw a pic of him at 6 months (where does the bloody time go?????) so ignore my size advice!

SquonkTheBeerGuru · 01/05/2008 12:40

oh, for that weight, I would guess size 3 anyway

(anyone got any better advice re: size?)

SparklyGothKat · 01/05/2008 12:41

lol he is 7 months Squonk!

Where are going. It might be cheaper and easier to buy them their.

DD2 is 8mths and i use pampers size 3. a box of 100 and something last over 2 weeks. I know pampers are called Dodot n spain.

SquonkTheBeerGuru · 01/05/2008 13:43

I think you've probably ordered about the right amount. I worked on the assumption that you would go through five a day (three during the day and two through the night) which works out at 70.

You would probably be able to buy more while you're there anyway if you do start to get low.

Have a lovely time
