Does my babies head shape look ok? Nobody has mentioned its not but i can't help thinking it looks different? She does have a very large head, its above the 99th percentile. I'm concerned about her forehead?

It looks totally normal to me OP 😊

How old is she and what type of birth did you have?
I can't see anything wrong but I'm not a health professional, but I did do ALOT of Googling when my first was born 😂.
Babies often have funny shaped heads. Just looking at my1 year old now his forehead seems similar x

Rach7291 · 17/12/2024 20:54

@Wavescrashingonthebeach i had a Csection. She is 6.5 months old now and has always had the same shape forehead. I spend my whole life on google!

Ah bless you. It's so hard isn't it when you start worrying! Honestly, I think if it's always been like that then the Dr would have mentioned it at the 6 week check or HV would have mentioned. If she's happy and healthy and feeding well then try not to stress :)

@Wavescrashingonthebeach thank you! I'm such a worrier and now having a baby seems to have made it so much worse!

Looks perfect to me.
You need to learn to manage the anxiety and keep off google though,

Hi op you may want to look around articles about "c section guilt".
It is somehow still seen as worse way for a baby to enter this world and mums are looked down for it.
Baby looks perfectly normal and cute.
Enjoy this precious time and try not to worry.

To be fair, all the late night googling I did probably saved me a fair amount of Dr's appointments! I googled every single thing about my firstborn and was very relieved to see that alot of the stuff I was worried about was perfectly normal!

Gracelet · 17/12/2024 21:25
