Postpartum instant meal ideas

I had my baby yesterday and wasn't organised enough to do any meal prep for the freezer so looking for instant/no prep microwave or airfryer friendly ideas that aren't horribly unhealthy (pizza etc, ready meals). We've got some lovely soups that we can microwave with some baguette but my mind has gone blank!

Congratulations. Tortellini takes 5 mins to boil on the hob. Have with some salad etc.
Omelette or scrambled egg on toast.

Have you got a partner and are they off work for paternity leave? If so I wouldn’t worry too much about very quick meals as there will be two of you and one baby, get food in that you really fancy eating and save the quick/instant options for when your partner goes back to work.

Things like pasta with cheese (cacio e pepe) or with a jar of dolmio and veg or mince (to make bolognese).

Anything you can put in a wrap - refried beans, cheese, veg with soured cream, scrambled eggs and cheese, make a big batch of chicken and veg fajita filling

Chickpea curry with a jarred curry sauce, just tip chickpeas and the curry sauce in a saucepan, add any veg, rice from a pouch, pappadom and naan.

These are the ones I did when I had mine. Very easy for your partner to cook with baby in a sling while you sleep.

Also highly recommend pretzels, dates/dried fruit, cashews and dark chocolate as a go to snack plate. Dh used to bring it to me before bed with tea in a flask for nighttime feed snacking.

Congrats on your baby!
