If there was an A level in Care of Tamagotchis, DS2 (6) would have an A*.

Psychomum5 · 30/04/2008 22:55

DD1 if G&T at eye rolling....quite an art form for a 14yo

DD2 is very G&T at thumb sucking

DD3 is rather adept at making prisons for her baby in the dollhouse...

DS1 is very good at arguing the point over why he cannot play basket ball on my mud patch lawn

DS2 is very good I have found at 'flying' off of wardrobes[fear/quake].

@ yurts boy!

DD2 is a world champion at ignoring that which doesnt please her. Mostly her daddy when he is telling her off

bran · 30/04/2008 23:06

My ds has been fantastic at picking flaws in arguments from a very early age. For instance, at around 2 years he scribbled on the wall with a pencil. Was firmly told not to scribble on wall with pencil or pen or crayon. I thought I had covered all the bases by specifying the writing implements, but less than an hour later I caught him scribbling on the end of the kitchen cabinets. He looked up at me and said "It's not the wall".

He catches me like that all the time, if he wasn't so keen on being a diver when he grows up I would fear that he was going to be a contracts lawyer.

bluenosesaint · 30/04/2008 23:08

dd2 is talented with her, ahem, number two's ...

Me "have you finished now?"
dd "not quite, i still have another 4 poo's to do ..."

WTF?!? How does she know??

sphil · 30/04/2008 23:11

DS1 - G&T in Dr Who Studies
DS2 - G&T in Mr Tumble Studies with a special subject in removing nappy down leg of supposed Houdini sleepsuit without undoing the zip.

onebatmother · 30/04/2008 23:13

lol at Colditz' dd open mockery of shouting parents, and cold-shouldering (and also a bit [scared])

ds, 6, at retention of information relating to the popular television series "Dr Who".
dd, 2, at twirling and cheek.

TotalChaos · 30/04/2008 23:13

DS's early promise at recognising the gregg's sign and prospect of a gingerbread man is now coming to fruition in his recognition of McDonald's signs.

wonderstuff · 30/04/2008 23:19

pmsl blue
dd g&t at fighting sleep and vomiting

Psychomum5 · 30/04/2008 23:23

DH says that all five DC's are G&T at asking for money....they have learnt from the grand master

keepcalmandcarryon · 30/04/2008 23:26

ds2 - headstands lasting over five minutes. He is now 6 and getting slightly less good at them - his centre of balance may be changing. Will be quite when the day comes when he is always the right way up...

edam · 30/04/2008 23:28

Dr Who studies here, as well!
And arguing back.

PinkTulips · 30/04/2008 23:30

dd is the mistress of sofa sitting teenage style while staring vacently at the tv, tis quite eerie in a 3 year old. if you stand in front of her she does this sideways uperbody movement to watch the tv around you without even blinking.

she is also the mistress of asking for 20 differant things in 2 minutes flat; can i have a freezer pop? can i have chocolate? can i have tv on? can i do colouring? can i have jellies? i want to do painting. are we gong outside now? can i hold that? what's this? can i play with it? i want peppa pig. can i bring the tractor book down? i want sophie bear. do we have oat biscuits? i want to wash my hands. can i drink your tea? i want that car! tell coogie (caleb, her brother) to give me that! mommy coogie hit me, kiss it better. i want to sit on the counter. can i have juice now?

ds is the master of falling over and smashing his face up (god help me the day i have to bring him to a&e as he's covered head to toe in bruises all the time).

he's also mastered how to sneak into the abthroom and soak himself and the entire room in the 10 seconds before i notice he's in there

OracleInaCoracle · 30/04/2008 23:30

ds is G&T at making train noises.

snowleopard · 30/04/2008 23:46

Gregg's sign - that reminds me of another of DS's talents - he can identify "Cadbury purple" at 20 paces.

Flame · 01/05/2008 07:36

Climbing anything dangerous.

Oh, and DD could recognise DVD spines at an embarrassingly young age

hotcrossbunny · 01/05/2008 09:15

lol Psychomum5. My dd could recognise the M from Macdonalds too, but used to shout out very excitedly "Look, its a M for Mummy", even though she knew full well it was McDs. Got me lots of respectful looks

BillyElliot · 01/05/2008 09:18

dd is gifted at fooling her father. ridiculous pretend crying and then evil soap opera smile over his shoulder as he picks her up for a cuddle.

Pavlovthecat · 01/05/2008 09:20

Destroying the kitchen without trying.
Messing up her clothes even when she is not eating/drinking/playing with sand
Laughing

Janni · 01/05/2008 10:00

frankiesbestfriend · 01/05/2008 10:23

Also winner of many awards for the longest time taken to eat one crumpet on a school day. We are very proud.

Swedes · 01/05/2008 12:54

DS1 (16) is G&T at accents and voices.
DS2 (12) is G&T at sports stats
DD1 (2) is G&T at pulling a huge range of faces
DS3 (9 months) is G&T at still not sitting up properly
