Best wellies for 5 year old?

My 5 year old has just brought his wellies back from school. He's worn them a lot in the term (every time they're outside for break, lunch etc) but they've come back with slits where the rubber has bent around the ankles.

They're Clarks wellies so I thought they would hold up better than that!

Any recommendations on decent wellies that will hold up to a lot of running about from a 5 year old boy?!

Thanks in advance :)

Kidly wellies have held up well for us. So have frugi, although even on sale I might be hesitant to send those to school, unless your son is pretty good at keeping track of his things.

Thanks - haven't heard of the first brand. Will take a look
