10/11 year olds - what time to bed?

Am having a difference of opinion with dd re: bed time.
Would appreciate knowing what time your dc go up to bed, what time they have the light out, and approx what time they go to sleep.
She is in year 6, but is still 10.

I was allowed to go to bed as and when I wanted at that age, but tended towards about nine as I liked to read for a bit

I will say, though, that I was a pretty much model child. Oh the shame

My dd went at 9 when she was that age.

Year 6 DS - Bed most nights at 8.30 , lights out by 9.00 Once or twice a week - negotiates staying up until 9 - lights out 9.15. Stays up until about 11.00 or 12.00 if having a sleep over (once or twice a month).

Bed and lights out at 8.30 on weekdays. dds are 11 and 9 but they need to get up at 6.30am. Usually by 10 at weekends, not that bothered.

Dd (11) and ds (7) go up at the same time, 8.15-8.30, as I read to the two of them together and dd needs more sleep anyway. By the time the story is finished it is usually about 9-9.15.

Because they still like having me read a story, I insist on bedtime happening before I am too tired.
