Best strollers for a toddler who likes to nap in the buggy? My just 3 year old still loves to nap in his buggy but his current slivercross pop is to small

Have you got lots of space? If so, I'd get a running/multi-terrain buggy. They tend to be bigger and you will be able to go on more interesting walks while he sleeps as well. But they can be quite expensive so you'd want to look second hand as he might not nap in the buggy much longer.

The YoYo is really roomy- I’ve pushed an average sized 6YO in it when she was tired at a theme park and little brother was walking and she fitted fine! My youngest last slept in it over the summer and he was 3.5 but he’s very tall and was comfy with enough room. But they’re pricey and at 3 you’re on borrowed time for both the nap and the buggy itself so I’d probably only buy one if I was planning a second kid or I could find a second hand bargain!

I looked at the yoyo but I thought the backrest was really low so would be no good for nap? When I sat him in it his head was over the top

Errr yes the backrest won’t reach the top of a toddler/preschooler head but their head goes up into the hood and when you recline the stroller for a nap the head is still fully supported at the right angle. Both of my kids have managed to sleep comfortably in it up until 3.5, and my youngest is ~80th for height, and it only stopped because they weren’t napping anymore and were walking places, not because the pram was outgrown!

My eldest used an old version of the Baby Jogger and she napped until age 4. Very roomy and had a full recline. I wouldn't want to be using a full size running buggy unless you are only going to certain places like parks - very awkward for shops etc.

So is the head resting in the hood when they are reclined for a nap? Will this work for all strollers I'm wondering if.my slivercross pop will be ok?

I had a Joie Brisk and it was great for tall children and fully reclined for naps with their head well supported. Didn't break the bank either!

Did there head go.over the headrest

Nope. The headrest supported her head, it's quite high on a brisk.

If you get a babyjogger the older version is better as has an actual ledge for a footrest the newer ones have a panel that lifts up to extend the lie flat for babies although you can remove this and push the fabric flap back to create a ledge for feet of your dc has long legs as other wise they dangle and it can be uncomfortable. Yoyo 3 (newest version has a higher backrest)

I have an out and about pushchair and my 3 year is still comfy in it plus it's so easy to push. My 6 year old can squeeze in.

Did buy it second hand 3 years ago and still works really well
