Daughter being ostracised again

My daughter is 14 years old and we are really struggling to help her at the moment so wondered if you all may have some advice?
This is the second time in high school that a group of girls she has become friends with have turned on her and told her they don't want to be friends with her. She is so sad and it's breaking the whole families heart to see her this way. Are there any practical ways I can help support her through this please?

hey 👋 not really enough information, have these girls given your DD a reason as to why they no longer want to be friends? Maybe getting to the root of the problem will help? My DD is 14 and has falling outs with her friends here n there, to them it feels like the end of the world for us we know it will only be a few days until they are friends again or they will make new friends, i don’t have any friends from high school anymore, we grew apart after school, my current friends are from after i finished school, maybe let her know that there are more ways to make friends than just school, join a club maybe? xx

Keep her busy - nice trips out with you ( cinema? Xmas shopping etc) and watching programmes together - give her as much of yout time and affection as possible. Usually schools have seating plans in class but pupils can feel lonely and left out at break and lunch times and may be be embarassed to be seen alone - if your DD is experiencing this, contact her tutor to see if there is a "base room" or "house room" kids who are struggling can use to have lunch in or some other set up, perhaps in the Library. It's so tough and upsetting.

If things get really bad is there an alternative school she could attend?
