Our thermostat is set to 21.5 and I have her in a short sleeve vest , Sleepsuit and 1 tog sleep bag but I feel like she isn't quiet warm enough she's been waking earlier and earlier in the mornings and I'm wondering is it because maybe she is cold . Would 1.5 tog be enough ? I'm a bit neurotic about her overheating she is 6 months . I'm laying I. My bed next to her while she has a nap and I'm fully dressed and feel a chill even though as I say thermostat is set to 21.5 .

I'm also quite paranoid about babies overheating (I almost said something to a woman I saw pushing a baby in a pramsuit and footmuff in near 30°C heat in the summer, totally fucking cruel and dangerous. She walked off before I could say anything) but even I'd put her in a 1.5tog if she's chilly. 1.5tog is 'universal' - there are guides you can look up online to see how best to dress them for different temperatures/togs.

Thanks yes the guide I was following suggested a 1 tog but I don't think it's enough right now . I'll look for a 1.5 tog sleep sack for her

Baby Mori do an excellent universal 1.5 tog sleepsack. Pricey but well worth the investment as it fits from birth to 2 years I believe (I'd check but DD is asleep in it). John Lewis also do 1.5 tog sleepsacks that wash really nicely, lovely and soft.

This time of year I'd be using 2.5, maybe with just a vest if you're worried but 2.5 and sleepsuit is fine. I'd set your heating to just 18, aren't you really hot with it that warm?

No house still feels a bit chilli tbh and it's an A rated house so not an old house you would expect to lose heat
