Odeon newbie cinema

Hello,
I went to odeons newbie screening with our 4 week old baby and now reflecting on it, it was noisier than I expected and I am concerned about my little ones ears and potentially damaging them. I wanted to see if other mums have gone to these screenings and if they put ear defenders on for these screenings?

I don’t think it will have done any damage, but I find the cinema (Odeon especially) incredibly loud. It hurts my ears! I wouldn’t think it would be very nice for a baby. I probably would use ear defenders if you’re intent on taking baby. If it was me personally, I’d probably leave the baby at home and just take myself to a regular showing.

Thank you for replying. I go so infrequently that I was surprised at how loud it was especially for a baby screening. I agree and think I will leave her at home next time. I just hope I havent damaged them with this one off visit.
