I'm growing out my 3yo's hair and its needing to be tied back in some way but i cannot get it right.
- very thick
- grows forward from a quite low crown (you can see here, ive pulled front back but it overlaps with the forward growth)
- points up or outward, like a one year old's 'fountain' (also see pic)
- probs curly but not long enough yet to see
- extremely dry. The ends look like straw some days (i use a deep conditioner and wash only weekly)
- hates having hair brushed or bobbles in. She says 'ow' every time, but im not doing anything that would actually hurt (and she's hard as nails about falling over or banging heads)
Any advice welcome. The reason I'm growing it is that I don't want her to be the only girl with short hair when she starts school in Sept. Its the age where kids are saying "you're a boy", and she will be wearing pants (aka trousers) not a skirt.
I'd use products, but only if the dont contain nasties like phthalates, SLS, fragrances and alcohol
