Solicitor

I have a solicitor meeting tomorrow to seek legal advice in regards to my ex seeing our child supervised and without me, as he is causing me a lot of emotional distress. What do I have to bring with me? I've never had to do this before. I have a family support officer who helped me put together a timeline of events, and events during the relationship which led to the breakup and my depression.

Also not sure if I can get childcare. I don't mind bringing her with me but i don't want this to look bad, also not sure if your allowed kids with you. She's 2 and a half.

If you really can't get anyone to look after her can you take things like a small box of raisins for her and some paper and crayons? I always found that a small box of raisins kept them quiet fur a but as they are so fiddly.

I hope the appointment goes well tomorrow.

Has your Ex asked for access?

How do you want the supervised access to work? Contact centres can be bleak and difficult to get availability. Are there any trusted friends who could supervise these arrangements? Be prepared for him to provide names and that they might actually be random acquaintances rather than known and trusted friends or family. Is this a first step before family court? They usually award 2 hours every other week if you have genuine concerns about him being a reliable parent with your child.
