Calpol day after 12 week vaccinations?

DS had his vaccinations yesterday and we were told to give him Calpol right after even though a fever is not expected as the Men B isn't given at 12 weeks.

He had a dose yesterday and seemed fine until the night. Throughout the night and all this morning he's been groaning and crying in pain. I suspect it's the rotavirus vaccine as it did similar to DS1.

He's still only tiny so I don't want to overdo any medication but feel I should give him a dose so he can get some relief. There's no fever just pain.

Just looking for a sense check.

definitely give some calpol - why wouldn't you if he is pain?

Absolutely give it!

I would give some calpol if you think they need it, as long as you follow instructions on how often to administer it then will be absolutely fine!! Don’t stress🥰
