Feeding schedule - long stretch between feeds at night!

My 5 month old baby will usually have last bottle around 6:30/7 and will often sleep from between 8-9pm to 8-9am waking up for morning feed (there are a couple wakings through the night to put dummy back in obv) but Sometimes this can mean 15 hours between feeds…. Is this normal?!

I notice he has longer stretches of sleep with my blackout curtains shut but I just worry that this is confusing his body clock?

I’m also thinking about what will happen when I go back to work, I know I am lucky but the 8-9am wakings will not be feasible 🤣 I am thinking maybe waking him a bit earlier of a morning and at the same time will naturally result in an earlier bed time which I think would also help with routine and make days a bit more predictable as at the minute there is no routine to naps/feeds whatsoever either (he has 4/5 bottles a day)

😂 oh my gosh, go to bed and get some sleep. What a problem to have. No don’t do anything other than make the most of it. It’s normal that they go through a stretch of good sleep after a big developmental period. Enjoy it. My eldest was waking every 30-60 minutes from 6 months because of teething and starting solids. Make the most of it because it will not last.

Is he getting enough food in during the day @Newlyttc? Is he bright and alert at times?

If the answer is yes to both those things I'd just count your lucky stars!

How long is it till you start back to work?

Enjoy it! You could always work on trying to get him into a 7-7 routine if that will be better for when you go back to work. Wake him up at 7 instead of letting him sleep longer.

Mine have slept 7-7 since 8 weeks, 6 weeks and 6 weeks. Some babies are really good sleepers.

My 5 month old was a great sleeper..until the 4 month sleep regression😵‍💫😂😂 I would say if they’re getting enough milk in the day then his little brain/body must just need the rest to keep growing🥰 long may it continue 😁
