My eldest dd10 had a dummy and did til she was 2 I was a single parent from her being 9 months and it worked at the time as a newborn she kept it in at night.

My now newborn 2 month old dd will go to sleep perfectly. 8-1230am after being fed a bottle and is sleeping. Has her dummy
To go off but from the 1230 feed onwards I have to literally put in dummy back in her mouth every 5 mins! She is in an arms up swaddle so either knocks it out of her mouth or it falls out 😩 I'm doing majority of the night feeds and I'm gettin zero sleep from 1230 onwards !!

Decided I want to get rid completely now, is cold turkey the best way or is there another way ? I know I will have her screaming at night and day as she is used to it.
Thanks

She might be young enough to try cold turkey, both of mine self weaned from the dummy so essentially went cold turkey, albeit instigated by them.

My eldest was 11 weeks and my youngest 5 months, both used the dummy regularly and then one day just stopped.
