Hi, genuine question as I’ve been reading on Gov website and just want to make sure I’m right… my partner works full time and I work part time, we have a daughter (aged 2) and I’m going on maternity leave next month with our second child.
we currently claim UC (tiny amount a month but every little helps!)
when my maternity leave ends because I will have a child under 1 and a child under 3 will I be expected to work?
I found this on gov website so will attach pics, we can’t afford childcare so me being at home would be the best option, I just wondered if they’d stick to our current UC allowance but only take my partners wage into consideration, hope this makes sense! Thankyou is advance
