Worrying about going back to work FT and leaving DD

I have a 5m old DD. I am going back to work next August and already worrying about leaving her. We are moving to a different part of the UK prior to that and I will have to work full time as will then be the higher earner. Once we move and I’m back at work, DD will be looked after by my parents 2 days and then in nursery 3 days.

I am really worried about losing my bond with her and also so sad we will lose so much time together. At the moment we are with each other 24/7 and I can’t imagine going from that to just weekends and weekday evenings. I would LOVE to be able to go part time or drop a day at least but we just can’t afford it once we move.

I know people do this all the time but please tell me it’ll be ok and let me know how it worked for you??

DT’s went to full time nursery from six months old - had no impact at all on our close bond. Fathers go back to work - doesn’t affect their bond either.
