Strange question

I have a VERY strange question, and I apologise in advance for it but I have wracked my brain and cannot for the life of me work it out.

Please don't judge me for this, I just would like to know the cause, that's all.

My 11 month old has suddenly started to cry uncontrollably at the nursery rhyme Two Little Dicky Birds - at the section “fly away Peter, fly away Paul”.

I was doing it with maracas so I wondered if it was that, but she had the same reaction when I just used my own fingers.

She used to absolutely love it, and I know it sounds really trivial, but I cannot emphasise how upset that section made her and it took like ten minutes to calm her down again.

Does anyone have any idea at all what could have suddenly caused this? I’ve never seen her get so upset 😢

Just stop it.

Aww bless, no idea but my little girl got irrationally upset and me reclining the sofa yesterday, she also crys if you point a toy gun at her, big bro has never squirted her or shot a nerf bullet at her but it makes her upset lol xx

Clearly I have stopped it, but I sang it twice more using just my hands. Same reaction.

Oh love. Babies are completely irrational. Wait until she's at the age when she begs you for a banana sandwich and then cries uncontrollably because - you give her a banana sandwich.

Just ignore it and stop the song. Try it again in a month if you're curious to see if anything's changed. But don't worry about it.
It's just typical baby behaviour. Flowers

Her big brother ised to cry at this little green hedgehog toy we bought him, babies cry at weird things lol xx

Try singing without hands and see what happens. Just stop singing it if there's still reaction. My DD gets upset every time she hears a certain lullaby so I just change the song right away.

We had a nursery rhyme video. DS loved it except for one of them which started with a creaking rocking chair. I had to fast forward that one every time.

You just have to go with it. Doesn't mean anything.

I saw a video the other day and the babies all cry when you moo at them 🤷‍♀️ is it a similar thing?

God love you for giving this more than a millisecond of thought.
