16 month old bumped head in bath

16 month old fell over backwards from standing in the bath tub, hit her head on a section that had no bathmat. Cried but consoled pretty easily. No noticeable lump/bump and doesn’t make a fuss when I run my hands over her head. Red mark where she’s bumped though.

I just didn’t grab her in time, I feel utterly horrendous 😫

Anyone else experienced the same and LO was fine?

They'll be absolutely fine OP. I'm amazed you've made it to 16 months before experiencing a bumped head! These things happen (unfortunately)

Things that would be concerning are no crying (Ie. It's good that they cried), being very sleepy after a head bump or difficult to wake, or any vomiting after a bump. Obviously you know your child so if you're ever concerned you can call 111 too :)

She'll be fine. Just keep an eye on her. It's good that she cried straight away. It happens. Don't stress about it x
