don't know how to do links, sorry! quite funny though - i didn't realise it was a 'fashion', just seems sensible to me! LOL at 'too posh for pampers'.

who drains their nappy bucket and manually puts the nappies in the machine (assumes he means one by one). Its dry pailing here and a nappy mesh!

belgo · 28/04/2008 15:39

can you copy and paste the website? i'd like to read it.

belgo · 28/04/2008 15:41

We didn't use cloth nappies to be green, we just wanted to save money!!

chipmonkey · 28/04/2008 16:51

These articles really piss me off! They don't bother actually asking anyone who uses cloth how it's done these days, they blather on about terries, pins and soaking as if that's the norm for cloth users. And they get paid for this lazy writing!

blithedance · 28/04/2008 17:00

What a load of crap, as usual. Don't the media love a 20 years out of date stereotype.

belgo · 28/04/2008 17:19

I stopped reading it half way through.

oliviaelanasmum · 28/04/2008 17:28

I do soak mine and put them individually in the machine!! Just dont like dry pailing!
Love the coments people have left especially how selfish and enviromentally it is to have more than 2 children oops i'd better recycle dd3 and the baby im pregnant with!

oliviaelanasmum · 28/04/2008 17:29

enviromentally unfriendly!

chipmonkey · 28/04/2008 21:16

I have very often been tempted to recycle ds3!

Sanguine · 28/04/2008 21:47

Olivia, you are unutterably selfish. How could you? Fancy having children, how irresponsible.

And personally, I don't see what's wrong with the article. I do use cloth, but that's only because it's fashionable, and I want everyone to know how posh I am.

chipmonkey · 28/04/2008 23:01

Yes, all I think about when rinsing poo down the toilet is how posh I am being!
