Hi everyone my 16 month old fell down 3/4 stairs on Sunday afternoon, my husband turned his back for 3 seconds and he got away fell down 3 then my husband grabbed him before he got anymore, he seemed absolutely fine at the time, cried for a few mins obvs which I assume was the fright of it, fast forward to this morning he vomited after drinking his juice now I dunno if I’m thinking too much into it or it’s delayed from his fall! I think he’s just drank his juice to quick and it’s choked him but just looking some advice please! Thank you

Call 111

But I would guess this needs to be checked out

If you are genuinely worried then take him to get checked out. Personally, I'd just keep an eye on him.

I know delayed concussion can be a thing, and obviously trust your instincts and don’t hesitate to seek medical advice if you think it’s needed… But if it were my kid I would be thinking it’s a lot more likely that he fell on Sunday and then totally unrelated he’s now got a stomach bug. Did he go to nursery, toddler group, soft play or anything like that yesterday where he could have picked something up? There’s a lot of vile bugs going around at the moment, I have my 2 home from school/nursery with a hideous lurgy!

We've been to a&e with head injuries multiple times and have been told that vomiting multiple times can be a symptom of delayed concussion. If it's only once they're not too worried.

Were the stairs stone? Or carpeted? Did DC get a bump?

Of course, as per the last bullet point, they're only little and no one will criticise you if you're still worried and want to get it checked out.
