Antibiotic milk for bath?

Hi everyone, I'm currently on septrin antibiotics for a breast abscess and just pumped 8oz. I hate already having to nurse baby on antibiotics, I don't know whether to freeze it with the rest of the my milk or just use it for a bath. I've never had done a milk bath for baby are they useful? Would 8oz even be enough for a bath? Thanks in advance!

I've honestly never heard of a milk bath.

Hope you feel a bit better soon.

I've read they're good for skin but baby has good skin anyways so I don't know if it's any use, also don't want her to smell like milk lol. Thank you for the well wishes!

Honestly, just feed her. It’s better she’s having breast milk in her tummy than in her bath. I’ve never avoided feeding mine on antibiotics.

Yeah I'm trying to build up a stash for when I go back to work in February, will just freeze it then!
