My DD is 4.5mo and last week she did a settle in session at the crèche at my gym. She was fine. Today she went for a full session and she cried the entire hour (and for quite a while afterwards). She is teething and has recently had a cold (which I thought she was over, but after today I think she's still at the tail end of it). I'm not convinced it's the teething / cold that caused her to be so upset, but it probably did exacerbate it. She's generally a happy baby but she does have previous of occasionally being very upset for seemingly no reason and she is becoming increasingly attached to me (both of which are fine, she's a baby, but I have to find away to manage all of my responsibilities including her!).
I'm now nervous to try and send her again and am wondering what I should do - persevere? She has to get used to it eventually. Or wait and try again in a couple of months.
DH works ft and I have to try and work for a couple of hours most days in addition to caring for DD (and 2 dogs!), so I'm really keen to utilise the crèche as we don't have much family help and an hour child free (whether that's to exercise or work) really makes the difference to my ability to be positive.
Any advice, tips, solidarity from parents welcome please!
