Hi mums,
Need a bit of advice
My baby is 7 weeks old, she was breastfed for 3 weeks before she went onto formula ever since then she's been very conspitated and very sicky from half a hour after feeding to hours after feeding
She had a proper poo since the 20th October ever since then it's just been hard rocks.
I've changed milk twice advised by the doctors but it doesn't seem to be working, tokm her to a&e and they said the sickness was that I was over feeding her but she's sick whilst drinking her bottle and don't even finish the whole bottle and they never said what causes the conspitatuon they just said oh try a different formula and it will get better and prescribed her with lactolose ( which hasn't even done nothing ) I She's screaming coz she's in so much pain it's heartbreaking to see and We aren't getting anywhere, I just feel like that's actually something wrong
Did anyone else have this problem
TIA

Ok if she had those symptoms it sounds as though she may have Cow's Milk Protein Allergy.

I would take her to the GP today, you can print off the article and take it with you. Have you filmed her taking a feed? That might be helpful for the GP to see too?

Around one in ten babies have CMPA so the GP should know what to do. It's diagnosed through elimination so they need a formula which is suitable for babies who have CMPA and some anti-reflux medication.

Thank you. She did you end up having a cows milk protein allergy. After 8 weeks of fighting we finally got there.
