Hi

So my little one is 18 months now he has his central and lateral incisors on the top and his first two molars at the top but at the bottom he has only his central incisors and his 1st molars are coming through at the bottom too just worried as I haven't seen anything for his lateral incisors to come through and just getting a tad concerned and wondering if anyone else has been through this?

Thanks x

DD is 22 months with only eight teeth. Our dentist isnt concerned. They will come!

But if you're worried, always take her in for a dentist apt. Good to get them used to that environment early on!

Our DS2 was missing his bottom lateral incisors for ages. I was concerned for a while until I finally remembered that DS1 had been missing 1 bottom lateral incisor for ages as well.

There is a rare condition that can cause a lack of baby lateral incisors to come though but it only affects the top ones. If the bottom ones aren't there yet then it is just a case of waiting a bit longer.

I think DS2s were through by about 20 months.
