Lack of appetite when teething

My baby has just turned six months and his first tooth has started to poke through, and I think there’s another one on the other side starting to come through aswel 😬
He’s taking it like a champ and seems happy enough, sleeping well. But his appetite has just gone out the window. He’s drinking less than half the milk volume he was before. We have started him on solids, the purée pouches and he eats them well, still eating them well now that he is teething. I am not sure if the huge reduction in milk is due to the solids, teething or both.
He has some purée twice a day usually.
I expected him to want to feed less if it’s hurting him when drinking his milk (he’s bottle fed) but I guess I am just not sure how much his appetite could/should be affected and if there’s anything else I need to be doing?
Thank you x

I could have written this post word for word myself, my little boy is 6 months and is having purées twice a day and I’ve been giving him those weaning wands to chew on inbetween cause he wants to bite everything like mad. I’m assuming he isn’t interested in his bottles because of teething but he won’t really let me look! He’s biting everything like mad, including my shoulder when I pick him up lol. Has your little boy starting drinking normally again now? X
