What is normal baby pee colour?

I'm really confused. My 3 week old is still looking jaundiced so we have a clinic appointment in a few days. I have the leaflet about jaundice that says it's a red flag if the baby has dark, yellow urine "(newborn urine should be colourless)". All resources online about jaundice seem to say that newborn urine should be clear and not yellow. But all online resources that are NOT about jaundice say that newborn pee should be pale yellow. My baby's pee is a very pale yellow, like a sprinkle looks clear but a big puddle or the inside of a very bloated nappy looks slightly yellow. Is pale yellow pee normal or not??

Pale yellow is ok. Often with jaundice depending on the severity the pee can be very dark. The raised bilirubin causes it I think.
My boys, now teenagers have a blood condition that causes them to be jaundiced and also dark pee, sometimes very dark. Dark pee can also be a sign of dehydration.
