5 week old, Is this baby acne?

Hi my DD is 5 weeks old, she has cows milk protein allergy which is under control with prescription formula and has been referred to the paediatrician. She has eczema which comes and goes and has had a few little spots but now they’ve gone so bad and all down her neck and chest. Can baby acne affect these areas and spread this far? The spots do look similar to the ones on her face. Wondering if it’s acne or side effects from the formula still? Will have another GP visit if it doesn’t clear up. She’s otherwise happy.

For a rash that extensive I would always see gp.

It doesn't look like DDs baby acne, that was pretty much restricted to her face. I realise this is a very small sample! But I would think that it would be something to do with her allergy. Hopefully it clears up soon 💐

I agree I’m going to take her again in the morning I think it’s related to the cows milk

Ohhh bless her. My DD had similar over her back when 8 weeks. GP gave steroid cream and cleared it up, never returned- now 15 months.
