Any advice on cups

My baby (14m) refuses to drink from a cup. I’ve tried different cups, tried giving water, milk, even water with a tiny bit of fruit juice in and he just won’t drink it. I’ve tried persevering with the cup he seemed to enjoy playing with most. I’ve tried just giving him the cup and not trying to get him to drink from it. He just won’t drink from a cup. Any advice on how I can him to start drinking from a cup? Any advice on cups your baby preferred? I worry he’s not drinking enough h throughout the day. He still gets bottle morning and night and before his afternoon nap. Where am I going wrong here and how can I change it? Thanks

He’ll be getting most of his hydration from milk still as he’s still having loads of milk. I’d just not make a big deal of it. Keep it around when he’s playing and give it to him in the bath. Keep it on high chair for meals. Are helping him drink from it? He won’t do it himself initially. You need to hold it and tip it. Worth trying both a doidy cup and a straw cup if you haven’t. Mine both preferred them initially.

@mindutopia yeah I help him to drink from it and I model drinking from it too. I praise him any time he puts it in his mouth or takes a small sip. I have tried not giving him a morning bottle and putting milk in a cup with his breakfast but he refuses it and then I worry he’s not hydrated enough. I’ve never heard of a doidy cup so I will def look into that and a straw cup. Thanks

EZPZ cup, and leave him to it. Don't make a big deal out of it.
