Hi all my 15 month old eats well but noticed he is not putting on much weight now. What does your little ones eat for the day and any tips for him to put a little weight on. Thanks

Weight gain slows down after one year, don't worry about it too much. If you're truly concerned speak to your GP or health visitor.

At that age my daughter needed food and formula to gain weight. She was slow to wean and put on barely any weight between 7 and 13 months as she wasn't eating. She ate her first meal at 13 months and she started eating but she was 20 months before we could start reducing the amount of formula she was having in addition to food. The HV said it's quite common for weight gain to slow between 9 and 18 months as they are moving more and learning to speak but sometimes they are slow to increase their appetite to match their activity levels

Why do you want him to put weight on? If he is worryingly underweight you need to see your GP. If he is a normal toddler he will self-regulate his own eating. Don't make a big deal out of it, just leave him be.
