Need some advice!! FTM

My baby is 4 months old I just wanted help on what you did when the babies outgrow the next to me bed, I won't be putting her in her own room until shes at least 6 months and most probably abit older! Just wanted to know what to put them in like do you put the cot in your room?

Yes. We bought a toddler cot bed as I can’t be bothered buying another one in 1 or 2 years time.
It takes up a lot of space but better than him being in the tiny next to me.
DC is 8 months and still in our room in his big boy cot. We probably won’t move him until he’s nearly one, just our preference.

We put her cot in our room. We had to buy the slightly smaller of the two common sizes for it to fit (the cot rather than cot bed type). We didn’t have space for her to have her own room at the time anyway so she was in our room until we moved at 18 months. If her room is big enough you could also use a sofa bed in her room for one of you to sleep in. I have this set up now. Guests use the sofa bed and the rest of the time it’s there for one if us to sleep on if DD is ill.

We’re going to get this for our room. It’s a smaller than normal cot but it goes as low as a normal one so DD can’t topple out when she can pull herself up.

That is such a good idea and at a reasonable price too, my problem is where to put it after she's in her own bedroom.
