Hi Mums, we are going to dubai tomorrow for our honeymoon and my 2 year old daughter (nearly 3) is coming with us. We was diagnosed with glue ear last year and this year through summer months she has not had it (doctor said she would grow out of it) Few weeks ago she had bad cold and then ear infection. We took her to ENT specialist on saturday and he said fine to travel etc but she had small hole in her eardrum... has anyone else experinaced this travelling with young kids? Thank you

Not with young children. I have flown with a mild ear infection of my own. The pain was unbelievable. By the time I reached my destination my condition was so much worse.

i don’t know if that is similar to an already ruptured ear drum. I’m just having flashbacks to my flight and cringing though.

Sorry to hear that, yes it's not very nice.
