Baby cough???

DD is 9mo how do I help her cough? She’s just coughing loads and crying and it’s waking her the nights are so disturbed and then the next day k feel like she’s a bit tired

She’s having plenty of milk and water. I’ve gave her’ tixylix’ baby cough syrup and calpol in case she had a sore throat

but nothings working it’s been a two days I know it’ll pass eventually but I mean nothing helps or soothes it?

it’s like she just cries then gets tired enough she has a mini sleep

See if you can raise the head end of her cote. Maybe put pillows under her mattress?? Can you use vaporub??

and maybe she’s been ending up in our bed every time I pop her down she wakes😭

i feel helpless she’s so sad and it feels like the medicine doesn’t work

Raise the head of the cot slightly, and I find the calpol vapour night light works really well when mine have colds. I also dab some baby olbas oil on the sheet around the cot which helps with congestion.
