Alternative to gro clock for 7 year old

My 7 year old has a gro clock which works OK but it’s too bright at night & feels a bit babyish…I wouldn’t be looking to replace it as it does work ok but I am getting divorced so will be moving & I am thinking of leaving my ex the gro clock & wondering what to use instead. Can anyone recommend perhaps an illuminated digital clock that stays lit all night? Or another alternative? He likes a light on. He has a mini yoto & while I gather the big ones have a sun and moon function the mini doesn’t.

Light on a timer.

We have one of the Amazon Alexa things with a clock. Then can also use it to listen to music /stories.

Do you just want the light feature or the "stay in bed till it's morning" feature? A plug in night light and a separate sunrise clock may be a good combo I bought DDs in the black Friday sale so will probably be on again this year.

Use an old fashioned alarm clock with red light digits on it.

Standard clock for the time, plug in night light if he really needs a light but it's a good time to kick the habit

Our yoto minis have the sun and moon - just need to keep them plugged in, switched on and connected to wifi. It’s in the app under day mode and night mode.

I’ve been considering getting mine a clock marketed for adults with dementia. Nice big clear numbers, and have the day on them.

If you search for digital clock with day night function, there are other ones out there that will glow different colours depending on the time.
