Contacting DD father after 1 year awol

My daughter's dad has not been in her life for nearly 15 months (she is 5). We had a hearing about arrangements in Feb this year which the judge disregarded and told us to mediate again (this has failed 3 times previously). I've not heard from him since. The reason I haven't reached out is because it always turns sour and he has been unable to accommodate or be flexible towards DD. I have instigated all the legal proceedings and paid, offered multiple solutions and still he doesn't come forward. I'm now in two minds about whether to start contact up again as it's been so long but am scared to start dialogue for the fear it will go horribly wrong but also needing advice on how to approach someone who clearly see DD in his life.

I have been on my own parenting for whole time (he only had occasional weekend up to 2 years ago) I have no family or support and at times struggle with my own mental and physical health so I need help. I just don't know what to do!

Thanks

Don't contact him. He's not a good father and having him around inconsistently isn't going to be good for your daughter.
