I've ruined my baby's sleep - help!

DD2 will be 12 months next week

Although she's never slept through the night she has always been easy to put down to sleep, and slept at least her naps and the first chunk of night sleep in her cot before coming in with us.

She'd either feed to sleep (EBF) and be transferred, or, be put down drowsy but awake (yes really!) or very awake and babbling and just roll over and go to sleep after a minute or so.

BUT we went on holiday a month ago. Due to all being in the same room bedtimes were a bit trickier and I had her in bed with me, then after holiday I was ill and then she was ill and out of exhaustion I just kept her in bed with us from the start of the night....

Now she will not sleep unless she's physically touching me!!! If I transfer her, her eyes ping open straight away. She cries if i put her in the cot. She even cries pretty much straight away if she's asleep in my bed and I get up for the loo or something.

I can't let her cry because she shares a room with DD1 3yo and no alternative, it's a two bedroom house. No room to put the cot In our bedroom either.

She's going to be starting nursery soon so I really need her to be able to sleep without me again...help!! :(
