Reflux on Aptamil

I have a 4 month old who has been fully formula fed for about a month now. She has a lot of spit up after each bottle sometimes lasting up to 2 hours after having it but she never seems in pain
I’m tempted to try another formula to see if it helps. Does anyone have any recommendations? I was going to try either kendamil or cow & gate just because they’re cheaper or I don’t know whether to try an anti reflux one- her not being in pain tells me it might not be necessary though

thank you

My dd (4 and half months) is exactly the same. She’s on kendermill. The sickness didn’t bother her but was constant. I tried less amounts but more often but nothing worked. We have now started her with baby rice and some purees as she was slipping down the percentile and things have got much better. She still has same amount of milk as well but the excessive sickness has decreased by I would say 60-70%. I understand this isn’t for everyone but it’s working for us.

Personally I wouldn't bother with Cow & Gate as it's made in the same factory and honestly, there's not much difference to the one they're already having.

Kendamil is a bit marmite. Lots of people seem to love it but there are so many threads where it just doesn't suit a baby.

If cost is a concern, how about trying SMA Little Steps which is a first stage formula?

I wouldn't bother with weaning yet either, especially if she's not distressed and is just a happy sicker Wink
