Pediasure causing toddler to have excessive bowel movement

Hi.

I have a 18 month old who has recently been losing a lot of weight due to being a fussy eater and especially since he started walking.
I read about pediasure being great for weight gain in fussy eaters.
I had him drinking it once a day for three days. I stopped after this since he was having excessive bowel movements. It's now been two weeks since I stopped giving him it but he's still pooping around 6 times a day whereas before he would do it once every morning.

I have a doctor's appt booked but was curious to see what everyone's else's opinion is or if anyone else has experienced the same thing.
Can't help but worry. Would be great to hear what others think.

Have you spoke to the GP about the weight loss already?
