Hole in baby pouch

Help appreciated! I am worrying, my 11 month old is full of cold/cough and when taken to drs they said his throat looks sore, because of this he has been off his solid foods. The only thing he will eat is soft things porridge/purees etc so this is what I have been giving him. I just gave him a pouch and he ate it all, when I went to give him the last bit out of the pouch I noticed it coming out of the bottom and there was a hole 😭 I am now panicking because he ate most of it. There was no mould, it didn’t look or smell funny but has this happened to anyone else? So worried its going to make him poorly 😭 can’t believe I didn’t notice the first time!

How big was the hole and where was it stored before you gave it to your baby?

Any chance you have may have a mouse or rat in the kitchen?

To be fair, there's absolutely nothing you can do about it now. He will be poorly, or he won't.

If he is, keep up his fluids, lots of sudacrem to prevent nappy rash and lots of milk. Take him to docs if it seems particularly violent or ongoing.

More than likely he'll be fine.

It was more like a slit not like a chewed hole so don’t think so, it was just stored in a cool dry box with all his other snacks, all other packets are fine!
