I made a root vegetable soup for my two year old on wednesday, I had made enough to last him 2/3 lunches. However, we had an unexpected weekend and ended up being mostly out of the house. It's now monday, is the soup still fine to offer? it looks and smells fine, but i'm wondering if it's been too long?

what would you do?
thank you x

If it went on the fridge immediately I would.

No, I would only keep for 3 days.

I wouldn't, but I've worked in food for years and go "by the book". I think other people are less rigid about this but the only time I tried to be more easygoing, I got food poisoning from rice that was past its best. 😬
