Hi all

My friend has just had the shock of her life and is expecting triplets (no ivf, she can't believe it!)

They already have one daughter

They get UC

I believe there's a 2 child cap on UC, unless in cases where it's a multiple birth

But how many children will she get paid for? Would she get paid for all 3 of the triplets?

Info online is a bit confusing so I said I'd ask on here for her. She's popped it in her journal but they take forever to answer and I think they're freaking out a bit 😅

Hopefully someone will be along soon, so bumping.

I'm pretty sure that I've read that multiples will all count, if they are the "second" child, so all 4 would be included. Hopefully this is true ! (No 2 child limit on Child Benefit, but obviously UC is separate.)

They could research twins in the meantime, as this will be more common than triplets, but the same principle.

She'd get it for three children so the oldest and two of the triplets.
