I'd decided to buy new mattresses for my bassinet and Joie bedside crib for DC2. But, I'm finding it very hard to source replacements.
I've checked the Lullaby Trust's website and I know it's recommended to buy new for each new child, but I'm now debating whether to reuse DD's ones. They were bought new in June 2022, and have been wrapped up and stored in our loft since about Nov 2022.
DD wasn't a sicky baby at all, and we never had a single wee or poo explosion on either surface, so I'm not worried about that. More the fact my loft has some exposure to outside (under the eaves) and I'm pretty sure there have been mice up there. They're wrapped, but still...
Would you reuse?
