My 2 year old daughter has woken up twice in last month having night sweats. Is this normal? Thanks

My GP said that sweats that require a full PJ change aren't, but a sweaty pillow is fine.

Thank you! She's always been hot baby as such and only wears pj top at night and can't feel it through her top it's just her hair and body that's sweaty.

Sounds like my boy. His head gets sooo hot! I tend to pull the cover down once he's asleep and then back up again when I go to bed.

Oh really bless him, that's good idea. Thank you! my daughter duvet set is from john lewis so i may just check it's breathable too.

My youngest can be like this so I let him sleep in a nappy and cover him with a muslin

Thank you, does he get like it a lot of just every now and then? Do you still put duvet over as may try this. Thank you

I think some kids are just sweatier in bed than others tbh! My eldest is 6 and always seems to be roasting! We have often changed her entire clothing in the middle of the night it's been that bad (on and off). (The GP wasn't remotely bothered!)

My little lad was like this, his hair would be wet, and skin damp, his face would be sweating. I’d keep the blankets off him & dress him as cool as possible. Just a nappy in summer. Not sure why, but he’s just a hot person. His dad is the same (so is my dad). Always more so at night. He’s four now & still kicks the duvet off. He’s nice & cuddly in winter!
